Gel Electrophoresis Imaging - Chemidoc MP (Biorad)
Gel Electrophoresis Imaging - Chemidoc MP (Biorad)

Overview

  • The Chemidoc MP is a highly sensitive, multitasking imaging system that allows UV, chemiluminescent, fluorescent and white light imaging as well as stain free technology providing reproducible quantitative results. Three LED modules (red, green and blue) allow detection of all common fluorescent dyes (Alexa Fluor, DyLight, Cy, Qdot). ImageLabâ„¢ software allows easy publication ready image processing. This instrument may be used to image nucleic acid gels, protein gels, and blots, in addition to other custom imaging applications (e.g. fluorescent materials, microarrays, bioactive paper).
  • NOTE: The BI has a variety of gel electrophoresis equipment for making nucleic acid gels, protein gels, and blots.
