Overview
The Quartz Crystal Microbalance with Dissipation (QCM-D) monitoring monitors the frequncy and energy dissipation response of the freely oscillating sensor. It is commonly used in surface science to characterize the formation of thin films. This system can capture the kinetics of both structural changes and mass changes simultaneously.
